I came across this very interesting site via wandering youtube. Hometown Baghdad is a website with a blog and videos that document the lives of some Iraqis day to day. It gives a very different perspective than any I have seen on TV.

Just watch and you’ll understand.

I am proud to announce my candidacy in the 2020 US presidential elections. I may be the first, but also I hope to be the most important candidate in the election of 2020. Unless congress gets around to changing the constitution (so all sorts of crazy things can happen) that is the earliest I can run. This may not seem important, but as the primary will invariably be held in January 2017 the day after the inauguration you can understand the need to start my campaign early.

The preliminary plan is to begin a exploratory committee (resumes welcome). I am also proud to announce I’m voting for Dukakis (or Lobster-man if Dukakis dies) in all of the elections preceding the 2020 vote. I think this will aid in showing how serious I am about the future of our Country.
